"Tommy" Thomas Roy Wilson, age 60 of Yancey, passed away April 6, 2012 in San Antonio. He was born on Aug. 30, 1951 in Hondo to the late Roy E. and Dolores Lorfing Wilson. Tommy married Madelyn Fohn on Jan. 6, 1973 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in D'Hanis. Tommy loved hunting, and being with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Mike Dodson. Survivors include his wife, Madelyn Fohn Wilson of Yancey; children and their spouses, Roy and Jamie Wilson of Yancey, Mollie and Chris Wujcik of St. Louis, and Lynne and Ryan Almand of Midland; grandchildren, Wilson Wujcik, Ella Wujcik, and Joanie Wilson; sisters, Phyllis Dodson of Rio Frio, Beth Schott and husband John of San Marcos, and Peggy Rakowitz and husband David of Pleasanton; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be Monday, Apr. 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow the Funeral Service at Yancey Cemetery.
