Verine Maude Barlow, Age 89 years, 2 months, and 18 days, of Hondo, Texas, died on Tuesday, February 22, 2005. She was born in D'Hanis, on December 4, 1915, the daughter of Louis Joseph & Carolina E. (Rothe) Finger. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Joseph Fritz Finger, Clemens F. J. Finger, Maurice Finger, James Finger, infant Lou Finger; sister Sister Mary Damienne. Verine is survived by her sons Jonathan Riley Barlow and wife Carol of D'Hanis, Thomas Leslie Barlow and wife Donna of San Antonio, James Rothe Barlow and wife Betty of D'Hanis; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; sister Stella Ney of D'Hanis. The Memorial Service will be at 3:00 pm Sunday, February 27, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home in Hondo.
