Veronica Valdez Sauceda of San Antonio, age 43, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018. Born in San Antonio, Nov. 15, 1974, she was the daughter of Ambrosio and Cecilia Tovar Valdez. Veronica enjoyed shopping and catching an early movie on a weekend. Survivors include her husband, David Sauceda; her father, Ambrosio Valdez; sister, Esmeralda Martinez; aunt, Hilda Lorena (Jose Luis) Tellez, all of San Antonio, and aunt, Maria Jesus Galindo of Mexico. Visitation will be Sunday, April 8, 6 to 8 p.m., at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel, with Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Monday, April 9, 11 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
