Victor Marvin Saathoff of Hondo, Texas, passed away June 10, 2004, at the age of 81 years, 7 months, 27 days. Victor was born on October 14, 1922, to Edward Ernst & Ida Ann (DeGrodt) Saathoff in Hondo, Texas. Victor was a Farmer & Rancher. He was preceded by his parents. He is survived by his daughters: Barbara Ann Bolte and husband Paul of Gales Creek, OR, Vickie Sue Ijams and husband Ron of Castroville, Mary Louise Eichman and husband Don of Castroville; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren. The Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Sunday, June 13, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home and the Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm Monday, June 14, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church. the casketcarriers were: Bruce Saathoff, Richard Schweers, John O. Ashford, Michael Ijams, Tobe White, Cesar Collazo. Interment followed in Hondo Cemetery Oakwood Section.
