Viola Noak Busch Franke was born January 18, 1910 to Gustav and Lina Reuter Noak in Round Top, Texas. She was baptized on May 25, 1913 and confirmed on April 24, 1924 at the Round Top Lutheran Church. Viola passed away March 11, 2008. Viola was married to Herbert Busch in the Round Top Lutheran Church on November 24, 1935. Herbert Busch died January 19, 1956. Viola Noak Busch married Arthur T. Franke November 27, 1965 in the Round Top Lutheran Church. Arthur Franke died April 6, 1992. Viola went to rural schools near Round Top, Texas during her young years. She lived in the area around Round Top until the early sixties when she then moved to La Grange. She resided there until 1965 when she married Arthur Franke and moved to Hondo, Texas. Viola was a very active member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hondo, Texas until her health no longer allowed her to attend. She remained faithful to her Church until her death. Viola was preceeded in death by all of her five brothers and six sisters. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends by whom she will be missed. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hondo, Texas with Pastor Dave Mayer officiating. The pallbearers were James Eichler, Stuart Franke, Andrew Franke, Harold Moehring, Robert Richter, Lee Roy Schilling. A graveside service will be held at the Florida Chapel Cemetery outside Round Top, Texas at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, with Pastor David Nedvalek officiating.
