Virginia Robles Frausto of Centerpoint, formerly of Hondo, 82, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2018. Born in Yancey, July 24, 1936, she was the daughter of Isaac Robles and Angelita Luna Robles. Married young, she was a loving wife and mother. She had worked many jobs and opened her own daycare center. Those children still remember her and the love she gave them. After she and her husband retired in Center Point, they enjoyed life and friends and family. A devout woman, she was known to lead many rosaries and prayer groups. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Pedro M. "Pete" Frausto; son, Samuel R. Frausto; siblings, Amada Robles, Jose Robles, Audelia Cono, Julia Garza, Eva R. Sanchez, Tomas Robles, and Cuca Gauna. Survivors include her children, Jessie R. Frausto of Dumas, Christina F. Reyes of Center Point, Dorothy F.. (Gabriel) Diaz of Arizona, and Lila F.. (Sean) Holden of Colorado Springs CO; 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Minerva "Mine" DeLeon, Raul Robles, and Olivia Cono. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 3, 9 to 9:30 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, with a Rosary recited at 9:30 a.m.. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, Dec. 3, 10 a.m. St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, followed by interment at Yancey Cemetery.
