Virginia R. "Vicky" Garcia, age 84, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on September 26, 2026, in Kerrville, Texas.
Vicky was born in Hondo, on February 9, 1942, to Nicolas and Guadalupe Garcia .
She is preceded in death by her parents: Nicolas and Guadalupe Garcia; sisters: Mary Magdalena Garcia, Mary Dominguez, Lucia G. Alcaraz; brothers: Ramon Garcia, Ernesto "Chico" Garcia; nephews: Bobby Dominguez, and Richard Alcaraz; and nieces: Diana Hilda Dominguez and Trudy Dominguez.
Vicky is survived by her brother: Juan R. Garcia; nieces/nephews: Rachel Alcaraz, Becky Perez, Mary Rodriguez, Priscilla Alcaraz, Gilbert Alcaraz, Christina Barrios, Hector Garcia, Velma Hernandez, Lucy Zamarripa, Oscar Dominguez, Rosemary Dominguez, Frank Garcia and Leticia Garza.
A visitation will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., Recitation of the Rosary at 10:00 a.m., and Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
