Wayne Marie (Stevens) Graff, age 86, of Hondo passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, in Castroville. Wayne was born Oct. 5, 1921, in Abington, LA, the daughter of Wilmer Jackson and Georgie (Kinman) Stevens. She was a homemaker and had worked as a telephone operator. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Emil Graff Jr.; brother, George Harris Stevens; and sister, Jewel Rath. She is survived by her son, George Steven Graff and wife Janet; grandson, George Dalton Graff; sister, Sue Lee, all of Hondo; and brother, Don Stevens of New Braunfels. Visitation was Wednesday. Funeral service will be held Thursday, Jan. 24, 10 a.m., at Guinn-Horger Chapel. The casketcarriers were: Eric Chapman, Jim Chapman, Eric Bassett, Brian Lutz, Nick Lee, Kevin Stevens. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
