William Shawn McGuyer of Utopia, 48, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017. Born Jan. 7, 1969, in Ft. Stockton, he was the son of John and Freye Cope McGuyer. He is preceded in death by his mother and brother, Randall McGuyer. He is survived by his father, John McGuyer of Utopia; brothers, Michael McGuyer of Midland, Vaughn McGuyer of Leakey and Truett McGuyer of Utopia. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 19, at 10 a.m. at John McGuyer's residence.
