William Harold "Bill" Mooney, Age 56 years, 9 months, and 28 days, of Mexia, Texas, formerly of Hondo, died on Friday, November 5, 2004. He was born in Jackson, MS on January 8, 1948, the son of Aubrey W. & Agnes (Hartman) Mooney. Bill is a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents; son William David Mooney; sister Geneva Louise Mooney. Bill is survived by his wife Linda (Cobb) Mooney; daughter Shelly Diaz and husband Armando of Three Rivers; son Scott Mooney and wife Jo of Gillette, Wyoming; daughter Tamara Supulver of Mexia; son Daymon St. John of Corpus Christi; eleven grandchildren, and many other relatives and close friends. The Visitation is scheduled from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Monday, November 8, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 9, at the New Fountain United Methodist Church. The burial will follow at the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
