William "Bill" Pickthall, age 64, of Hondo passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2007. He was born in Dallas on Sept. 23, 1942, the son of William James and Martha (Anderson) Pickthall. He was a Vietnam veteran and was retired as a supply technician with the Veterans' Administration. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Pickthall of Hondo; son, William R. "Billy" Pickthall Jr. and wife Paloma of Devine; daughters, Margaret Terrell and husband Rodger of Bellavista, AR, and Sharrae Taylor and husband Jim of San Antonio; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and stepchildren, Stephanie Whybark of California, Trevor Reed and James Reed of San Marcos. A private graveside service was held Monday, June 25, at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section, officiated by Minister Kenneth Heyen.
