William "Bill" Charles Teer, age 65, of Castroville, passed away September 19, 2015 in San Antonio. Bill was born November 25, 1949 in Hondo to Vasco James Teer and Ruby Elsie Marquis. He was a graduate of Hondo High School. Bill worked for the Texas Highway Department of Transportation in highway maintenance before his retirement. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Brandon Charles and Heather Teer of Castroville and Michelle Lynn and Raymond Crain of Devine; grandchildren, Bailey Crain and Cailey Crain. His parents preceded him in death. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 23, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with the Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Coste. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery with military honors.
